John Lennon's original lyrics for "A Day in the LIfe" were sold at auction $1.2 million. Some say the song tells of Paul McCartney's death, when he "blew his mind out in a car"
It also features the phrase "I'd love to turn you on," which many later believed was another hint at Paul's death, as on the White Album, the song "Revolution 9," when listened to backwards, says "Turn me on, deadman."
The song was also banned from the BBC radio, because of lyrics like these and it's frightening crescendos and high pitched buzzing, and was taken off the LP in many countries.
